Bubble 4 class fun

I am going to be telling you what I have been doing in my class, bubble 4. We did tons of fun things like swimming, happy posters well I call it that, gardening and lots more. First I will tell you about our swimming, and there will be lots of photos of our fun. Since I don't really remember what we did I'm just going to tell you what I know. So first we obviously got changed (you can't expect us to go in with our clothes on) then we got into the pool we first got 10 minutes to have freetime then we did lessons for 5 minutes I think but it was short. But after we got to play a game, stuck in the mud! here is some photos!. Since there is no photos I can put ones of but doing measuring.

Oh Oh! I want to tell you about the bubble wand it was SOOO cool first I can tell you what it can do. The bubble wand can make shiny rainbow bubbles and if you use it, it can make HUGE and I mean huge bubbles I can show you right now.

Then our happy posters (that is what I call'em) are next I had so much fun drawing on it I wrote Keep Smiling. I did ~~~~ that under it then I did bubbles around it. There isn't much to talk about it but I can just show you and I can show you some others.

My narrative writing of morphed animal!

I am going to show you my writing slideshow and what it is about, it's about fables. A fable is a moral lesson in a fairytales a moral lesson is a lesson that has been learnt in the story. Like for example jealousy, friendship, kinkdness etc. On the first few slides are about what a moral and fable is. On monday's research and fantasy animal: My fantasy animal is a harbra that is what I named it (I conbined the animals into one name). Here is a photo! 

The next day we planned on our story that needs a moral lesson. My moral is friendship and jealousy and the next day was about writing our story in order of first, secand, third. I can show you my first paragraph."There once was a harbra at the watering hole and there was tons of hippos there as well. The harbra’s did not like the hippos one teen hippos and one of the teen harbras argued of who should have the watering hole. Then it became a fight, and the harbra realised how dangerous hippos are".

The fourth day is when we edited and wrote our story when we were done we had to wait till the next day. When it came wehad to blog about it that is what im doing right now.

My lockdown creations

Today I'm going to share my work with you (homework). Normally I always say in the daily reflection " this work was really easy" because it is!. I won't show you all my work but I will show you 1 slide of my work. I'm doing todays work (friday), I'm going to do my reading. So, first I chose a story to listen to on the board I chose.....bad apple then I had to write a book review. I had to write my name then put the auther and the book title. The auther was Edward Hemingway then I had to write a introduce the book, what did I like.

Then I did maths I played three games,  e-ako maths, tedra squares and 8 square. My score was 16 in e-ako maths and the tedra was fun. here is some photos!

Now I'm going to show you my writing. One of my work is this blog post and to write 2 coments on the te waka ako blog. I have no photos but I can tell you about my writing. One of my coments was on the themes we do on our syndicate meets and the secand one was about debs leaving. Oh wait I think I have photos

My Holiday

I am going to be telling you about my HOLIDAY! there will be photos oh what I did.

1. I got new bedding that I chose and its really pretty and there is lots of cool flowers on it, it came with a comforter (blanket), two sheets and four pillow cases. The sheet is white with plants on it. here is a photo of my bed!

2. My brother and I got new bikes in the first week of holidays. Mine is white with pink then when I gets to the middle it turns orange its very pretty. My brothers (Ryder) bike is black and has a limey color then as it passes the middle it turns blue. We went for our family bike ride at Ambery Park. Here is a photo! 

3. We all went on a walk when dad was at work. I am soon going to show you some of the beautiful spring reminders we passed along the way. We took the opposite way that we went on our last walk, it took 40 mins.

4. On Saturday I went fishing with my family at Omaha boat ramp, on our boat. Ryder and I got to drive the boat but.....we got no fish, it was so quiet, but it was very hot and the sky was clear. 

5. When we got bored mum got us two,paint by numbers I got a humming bird and Ryder got coi fish. It is very fun to do when you are bored and because me and Ryder haven't painted in a very long time. We stopped painting when we ran out of it.

6. I played minecraft with Kiara, we played minecraft in the holidays together and when I played minecraft Ryder always had playdates. I got no photos of us playing minecraft so I just told you about it.

This week's favourite piece of learning.

My favourite work was my puzzles I did my first one was a town with a bush of flowers and my secand one was Mount Fuji. I liked the secand one because it was a bit more easy and a lot more fun to do these puzzles are very fun and relaxing.

This is the one I found the most fun and relaxing. 

Here is some fact's:

1.Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan. It is a dormant volcano, last erupting in 1708. Because of its perfect shape, the Japanese see Mount Fuji as a sacred mountain.

2. Artists come from all over the world to photograph and paint the image, as you can understand from the scene in this online jigsaw puzzle.

3. A perfect relaxing stop would be at Fuji Five Lake, which is at the northern base of the mountain and the hot spring resort area. Climbing Mount Fuji is possible between July and August. There are a variety of routes.

My favourite piece of literacy during lockdown

I am going to share my favourite piece of literacy my favourite one is "create your own video game character" . My game name was CATCH THAT LEPRECHAUN! mine was a girl she has green shoes clothes and a leprechaun hat. There will a photo of my leprechaun I put a pot of gold, a rainbow going over it so it looks like she followed it. It was hard doing all of it and organising and you can see I forgot to put the arms but i didn't put any because leprechauns are short they have little arms and hands. Doing it was fun the rainbow, somehow has white in it.

                                            WORK OF THE WEEK

I am goging to be telling you about all the work we have been doing, the first thing we have be doing on monday is our chase is something like there is some pages and there is different questions that you have to answer there is not much to talk about that so lets move on to the next one. Next was our tapa cloth it was very fun to do, so ther is four boxes we use shapes to make a cloth with different shapes ( Tapa Cloth ) then 

we had our addition Square. The addition Square is a square of numbers and we are adding like one on there is 16 + 2 = 18 that one of them on he board. When we were done on that one my fourth one is my number of the day some of you now that one because in middle school they do it, number of the day is, you pick a number I picked 111 there is different slides about your number. My Prototec work is like the chase but different, there is a sheet of digital paper on your screen you are timed and at the end you click at the bottom certificate buttom and it shows your time and howmuch you got right so for an example 59% that is your score ( I got 85% in stage 5 in 13 mins and 2s ). The last one matific, everyone knows matific maybe not the juniors but anyways its a fun thing to do on fridays we do the same thing somtimes.

Well I hoped you injoyed what we have been doing in lockdown! There will be more that I din't talk about becuase I didn't have time till my syndicate meet.

Adam Hall ( DLO )

When our 1st  goggle meet ever started, after that for homework we had to pick an athelte and write about them on a DLO. The really weird thing was that the teachers wrote that there was 206 to chose from but there was acctully 8.. I know wierd but anyways I chose Adam Hall he is in the paralympics (skiing). He got one bronze and 1 gold but the rest of the informatoin I will tell you later. I was suppose to do it on monday but .... I did it on tuesday insted, I did finish it on wensday there is no room left for me to do more. one of  my facts are: In 2016 Adam won gold medals in Downhill as well as the standing Slalom at the World Cup finals in Aspen and finished the season ranked third overall in the world for men’s standing Super-G and Downhill Standing. The 2017 season started with a bang as Adam won a bronze medal at the 2017 Para Alpine Skiing World Championships in Italy.  At the 2018 PyeongChang Paralympics Adam received the Whang Youn Dai Achievement Award, given to only two Paralympians who best embody the spirit of the Paralympic movement, and is the only New Zealander ever to have received it. Adam was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the Queen’s Birthday Honours, for services to sport. And one more: was born in 9 October 1987 and I was Diagnosed at birth with spina bifida. Adam says he’s “lucky” because he is mobile and able to walk. Oh and I forgot to mention I do skiing. Adam Hall also does cricket and ice hockey as well.

My group: Vivian, Carl , me and Tyler

When I woke up I looked at the calendar so I know what we are doing but when I saw it was the "SENIOTS OLYMPIC EVENT" I yelled. So I tryed to get ready fast but the faster I go the more longer I have to wait for my mum and Ryder to get ready then I had to go to before school care we stay for like an hour there when we finally left I saw all the equipment there was also funny hats and toto's I was very excited. When it was time for class Miss Sands was busy setting it up for us we were busy talking about homework , our teams , and the games names. When we got started we all had to take a photo first Miss Jones took it..... and the games began the first one my group did was bean bag tossing the other group we were versing got none in the bin we also got none in the bin. When we were finished the next game we did was the we stick together the game is easy but it hurts your back to much imagine a very hard ball and it is round on your back and the other person is like bragging you because you can't walk when someome elses feet is walking but it was a fun but easy game. Our next game is gumboot tossing we were versing another group that only has boys and the boots were very heavy but Carl was the only one in our group the through the boot fast but the other group through there boot faster and higher. Next we did can stacking we did 3 on the bottom 2 in the middle and 1 on the top our team lost 3 times we had to move on to the next game. We were doing egg race and also hurts your armpits and in between your legs, you put the eggs there and you go around the chair and back my team lost in every game but it does not mater if you lose or win it is just a game and the other games are rabbit jumping, past the rubber duck. I hope you liked our day and I hope you like yours.

OLYMPIC DLO WORK

When we first heard this lots of us got surprised we ahd to make a Olympic DLO we got to use book creator , google slides and drawings. I chose book creator beause it is cool and very fun it was hard at first but then it got easy. I got very creative but then I changed it soon I will show you photos of my work. When I finished the title I got to work on the real work I put as the title Ancient games I wrote a lot but when I was finished my new title was the morden games. I did not write that much because I did not know much about it. Now my new title the last one was the Olmpic games now but the Olmpic games are over and now the Paralompics are starting. Then lockdown came and I finished this at home and I hope you like my work and have a good day.

I am going to be showing you what work and stuff we did of the Olympic games while the Olympic ceremony was on for this term. lets get started. First research on the sport we chose, I chose Surfing because it is a great sport to try balance on a board and get good at trying to keep your legs stand for a while on the surf board. Now I will tell you about my sports person profile I did Ella Williams she is a Olympic Surfer , Ellas Williams was born into a family of surfers in 1995, with her parents running a surf shop in Raglan Bay. She started surfing aged four, entered her first surfing competition when she was six, before moving to Whangamatā on the Coromandel Peninsula; another of New Zealand's best surfing locations and Ella Williams is a surfer from Whangamatā, New Zealand. At age 18, she became junior world champion in Florianópolis, Brazil. She is set to compete in the inaugural shortboard surfing competition at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics , there is still more , Ella Williams was born on 13 January 1995 she is a surfer from Whangamatā, New Zealand. At age 18, she became junior world champion in Florianópolis, Brazil. Next I will tell you about my logos of all the sports they do in the Olympic games here is a photo since I can't really explan here it is....

When the day of school started it was Matariki we did all sorts of things games, dances, activities. when Miss Daly called the roll I was so exited what we were doing  (it what we were doing on the board). When we started the activities me and Cherabella and lots of other boys and girls came with us, we started making kites I wanted to do a vilot well

first we had to draw the patterns. We started with mountin patterns when we were done we did his face we did a nose, mouth, eyes, tatoo. We got to dry it when we are done  when I finshed I chose a purplish pink when most of the kids finshed the kite the teacher sticks of the feathers and the wings. Then the bell rang for morning tea.

I am going to teach you how to play musical statues. This is how you play.

MUSICAL STATUES

Instructions: 

1.  Kids have to Walk or dance when the phone's music is on.

2. When the music stops you freeze. The person that's controlling the music gets people out if they move. That’s how  More and more kids get out the music stops quicker.  

3. Adults start to play after the kids when All the kids are out. The kids have to control the music (one kid). (This is how I play).

4. The kid or adult that wins gets a prize like in every game that’s like this.

Goal:

Try not to sneeze or itch or move a single muscle to yourself because it counts. So if you do one of those things you are out of the game until the next round.

Year 5 day

 Good afternoon bloggers,👋

Today when I asked my Mum "what date today" it is the 17th of may she said Then I said oh it is the year sixes are on a trip today. When I got to school the year sixes had to eat and put a bar I there pocket. Miss Daly called all the year sixes for roll call to see who is here. When they were doing that, Paityn found a cool book called 'There was in old lady who swallowed a fly'. When Miss McGrath came she said come to the mat we all rushed. When we started talking together we did a survey of respect it was fun then it became boring I am not saying it was not important then I be came sleepy. 

When we were done we did a thing. It's kind of like we walk around the room when the music stops the closes person around you and talk what you are gratefull for. Then we did a complement circle together. Locarno was last but there was no one else for he to talk to, then Miss Mcgrath said who have no one talk to yet "me" she whispered. Locarno said "ok".  so when we were done the "bell rang play time" I yelled. when it was time for class again Miss Mcgrath said we are doing something fun we are doing a fortune teller. I was very luky that the people at my table were girls and because they said they can help me. When had time to colour in but lots of people were finshed I was still working on it when I was done there was 3 seconds left to do it on someone I had no time left to do it on someone. Then the senors came in then the bell rang.

"Today is Toolkits" I shouted I was so excited for toolkits, this is the day I was waiting for. When I got to school wanted the school bell to ring. When it rang I was so prepared for what was going to happen I immediately got the things that I needed and left.  First I was going to do Piskel when I got there Zara and Josie were presenting. I was so excited there was not a lot of steps to do. When we started I had a plan of what I wanted to do I wanted to do a rainbow but a normal rainbow in the middle I did a a rainbow to red to blue then filled everything else, one side pink one side purple. When we had 10 more minites to do it I went creative and on the very ends of the squere I did red to make it look more cooler and fancier. When the time was up Zara said "Time for sharing who wants to go first" I put my hand up as fast as I could but Aliza was going first she did a diamond or a gem I don't really know but after Aliza I could go. When I went lots of people were shocked of what I did then the bell rang "It's morning tea" I said. A few minites later. The bell rang "Time for  Incredibox" I said. 

When I went there was not a lot of people Lily and Kiani was presenting it when they finshed the steps of what to do. When I went on the connection was so bad for me it took all the time we had on the clock the time was ticking there was 5 minites on the timer and I did nothing. When it was time for sharing I had 10 minites to do Incredibox on there teachers computer when my time was up then lily said "Now we can share". I could not share mine because I exited the tab. When the bell rang for our next activity I was going to do Book Creator I was really excited for it because it sounds fun when I got to my class Nora and Ayana. When the showed us the steps the steps looked SO easy then we started doing all those things when I got in Book Creator I started with out even knowing did you know in that whole time I finshed two then the bell rang for play lunch. I was so excited for making a blog post of Toolkits when I finshed lunch thats when we started to do the blog post whne I was nearly finshed the bell rang for home time.

I really liked toolkits that I want to do it next term.

Cameron pools

When I woke up I was so exctied that we where going to Carman Pools. When I got ready to go to school I heard that we were going to do art. When we were going to eat I thought that we were eating outside, but no. When we got on the bus with our swimming bags, When we got there we lined up. Then when we got inside I told Kiara that I swim here on saturday. When I got ready undressed with our togs we had to wait for the teachers to call our name so we now what group we are in. When a teacher called my name out she told me what her name is she said "Britney is my name". Thing I did not like about Cameron Pools is that we have to go in the big pool. When it was time for home.

one day later...

When we got to Cameron Pools for the secand time with our togs and done that stuff I so excitied be cause we had to swim in old clothes  but what I did not now was that we had to undress but keep our togs on. When it was time to do it I got ready then britney said " 3 ,2 ,1 GO!". we rushed and made waves I nearly drowned because my T shirt was so hard to get off. Then I was secand place. Well . I clamed myself secand because I heard that Xaiver was first. When we got out And dressed we left.

A few weeks later we did Siloutte art. When I first heard about it I thought my would look bad and it did. I got nervous if no one liked it but they liked it. I only had enough time just to draw the person. I was drawing Alexandra doing a star jump. When we got to finish off I did the color, orange, yellow, red, light green. The next day art was on again this time I finshed all the other colours except black.

At morning tea me and Kiara talked about each others siloutte art. When I was done my whole thing miss Daly yelled 'whoever is finshed come in the yellow space' so I went we did Maori dances. I was nervous if I got the moves wrong,  I was fine though then after that we did a hard dance I did't like the dance but I tried then the bell rang for lunch.
